Be pampered on board with a tailored itinerary that includes the world icon Whitehaven Beach and the glorious outlook at Hill Inlet. We also include one of the best snorkeling spots the Whitsundays has to offer. Alternatively, you can spend longer on Whitehaven Beach. It’s up to you. This is your special day.
This spacious yacht has a fully air-conditioned large dining and bar area down below, white upholstery as well as a spacious cockpit with full awnings so you can enjoy the comfort of sitting on deck. Slip into the Great Barrier Reef off the back deck. Enjoy our free day sports activities (stand up paddle boards) and a beautiful morning tea/scrumptious lunch and afternoon fruit and cheese platter with a complimentary glass of bubbles.
Plug in your own music to our up to date digital stereo. Sunbake on deck and watch the world go by.
Terms
You must pay 50% of the charter price at the time of booking. The remaining 50% must be paid before the charter sails. You will get the option to move to another date if we cancel due to weather or a full refund. We have a four guest minimum in order to sail. We will contact you if minimum numbers are not met.

Spank Me Whitsundays Sailing and Camping adventures caters to guests of all ages. She sleeps 27 guests and 3 crew in open-plan bunk rooms with mixtures of share-singles and share-doubles. Cruise around the Whitsunday Islands and glimpse a stunning array of marine life during captivating snorkel excursions each day. Explore the World Heritage Listed Whitsunday Islands, visiting Whitehaven Beach and snorkelling the fringing Great Barrier Reef.
Sleep onboard our spacious maxi yacht on the first night and have the option of camping on one of the beautiful Islands surrounding the Whitsundays on the second night.
Help assist the crew by hoisting the mainsail and dropping anchor at each exciting destination. Otherwise relax on the spacious deck and enjoy the view of the pristine Whitsunday Islands.
Every evening, roll up your sleeves and help the crew prepare mouth-watering specialties like beef stew, spaghetti bolognese, healthy ham and beef salad wraps, continental breakfasts, fresh breads, green salad, pasta salads plus loads more, you won’t go hungry!
Or, position yourself at the ship’s prow where you can watch the sky change from buttery yellow to blazing magenta as the sun dips below the horizon.

History
Originally named “Drumbeat”, Spank Me was built in Fremantle, Australia in 1989 by none other than Alan Bond. Despite her owner’s mounting financial problems, she was entered in the 1989-1990 Sydney to Hobart and not only survived the horrendous weather conditions that year, but also won the race.
Sold later that year, the vessel went to another prominent real estate tycoon – this time in New York, and the vessel was relocated to the east coast of the United States to compete for the next decade as “Congere”. Donated in the late 1990’s to the Naval Academy Sailing Foundation, “Congere” served as a training vessel for young American Naval sailors until she was purchased in 2001 by Spank Me Racing Corp. She continued her competitive sailing as “Spank Me BT”. Her last big race was the 2002 Newport – Bermuda Race in which she placed 3rd.
OzSail purchased the vessel in January, 2004 and relocated her back to her home country of Australia. She has kept her spankingly fun name and now conducts 2-day, 2-night Whitsundays sailing holidays around the World Heritage Listed Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

New Horizon is a beautiful 97ft classic wooden Schooner. She is one of the last solid timber boats built in Tasmania with famous Tasmanian hard wood, making her a very strong, seaworthy boat.
