Noosa Everglades Eco Tour

The Everglades Eco Tour showcases the magnificent wonder of the Everglades and is recognised as one of the most amazing natural wilderness experiences on the planet.

The tour starts with a cruise over stunning Lake Cootharaba before entering Australia’s only Everglades. The first stop is Fig Tree Point where guests can take in the surrounds on a 500-metre circuit through the ancient landscapes and lush sub tropical rainforests. Guests then re-board the tour boat and continue the journey upstream to historic Harry’s hut. Upon arriving at Harry’s Hut a delicious morning tea awaits and there’s ample time to explore this historical setting. Our experienced guides provide expert commentary throughout the tour covering the unique flora and fauna, abundant wildlife and extensive history of the region.

The tour returns to Habitat Noosa for a delicious chef prepared lunch served in CootharaBAR & Bistro. It is the ideal setting to sit back, enjoy the Lakeside views and sample a beer from Australia’s only artesian micro-brewery.

The 2-hour Sundowner sunset cruise includes a glass of sparkling wine (or soft drink) on arrival, and our shared platter of nibbles served during the cruise.

Sundowner Cruises operates from Airlie Beach, where the Whitsunday islands provide the perfect back drop for our sunset cruises and variety of other cruises Sundowner has to offer.

When our guests arrive on board to when they depart they have experienced quite a different cruise. From the ambiance from light to dark and seeing the lights of Airlie Beach to the social aspect of meeting new people and sharing experiences.

Our philosophy at Sundowner is about providing a great product, fantastic service in a friendly social atmosphere that gets your holiday off to a great start and that allows you to truly unwind and bask in a fantastic Whitsunday sunset whilst enjoying your favourite tipple from our fully licensed bar (no BYO).

Sundowner departs from Coral Sea Marina, which is a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach along the boardwalk.

Meeting time is 15 minutes prior to departure at the North Village roundabout, ‘Meeting Point B’, at Coral Sea Marina.
